Hello doctor,
My husband has hernia and suffering a lot. Hernia surgery was cancelled since he had high haemoglobin level. He has been managing hernia for 5 years. But now it gives him problem. How to treat hernia without surgery. Anaesthetist advised not to undergo surgery till hb level goes down. How to get rid of the problem? He has no pain but it disturbs him while walking and standing. Please do help him.

U did not mention what kind of hernia your husband has. The treatment will depend accordingly. But surgery,if required , can only be done after pre anaesthetic clearance
Hernia needs surgical treatment. Medical management of other comorbidities Can be done in a multi disciplinary team in our center. He should come to our clinic for further evaluation and treatment
Next Steps
kindly come in person to get evaluated and managed accordingly
Hernia has a surgical treatment. He needs examination and planned procedure by a surgeon. You may also consult a hematologist/ physician for the Hb issue being mentioned by you and get it treated.
