No maxtra drops should not used below 6 months.u can use crocin paracetamol drops fr fever.use saline nasal drops for cold.do proper burping after feeding.
NO!!
These should not be required beyond 3-5 days.
If mild, avoid unnecessary medicine and just give steam inhalations for cold and cough and decongestant nasal drops for nasal block or increased cough on lying down.
Use paracetamol for fever and repeat every 4 hours if required.
If not improving in 3 days OR accompanied by other symptoms like wheezing or breathlessness or dullness and refusal to feed, consult another paediatrician for physical examination and treatment.
