Shade or colour matching is the most essential part while placing crown on your tooth..Grayish color may be due to metal portion below the tooth colored layer of your cap which occurs in PFM ( porcelain fused to metal crown) .Zirconia based crown is the best for esthetic purposes.Visit a dentist to get the cap checked and opt for the zirconia crown which will be tooth colored throughout with precise margins and strength..
