Red patches and lump on the tongue
I have this red patches and the bulgy lump on both sides of the tongue for an year now. The previous dentist ignored it last year& said  it's normal. So I left it for an year as such and didn't see any other physician Dr or dentist.  I still have that for an year now. Same size. But it's been painful for the last ten days. So I went to another dentist yesterday. He also said it looks normal. But I can see the lump on the tongue and red patches on the skin which looks like skin peeled on both the sides. New dentist said it's normal and sent me back. Do I need to see an oral surgeon or an ENT further? This looks scary to me as I have it for more than an year in the same place. Does it look normal or anything cancerous? I have that bulgy lump on both the sides of the tongue. And the red patches. Should I leave it as such as dentist said it's normal? Need Second opinion.
