Can recurrent Vaginal yeast infection be cured?
The probelm has been persistent for 1.5 years now.
Have been to many doctors. The infection comes back after stopping anti fungals.
Sexually active but always used protection. Non diabetic.
Please let me know if this can be permanently cured. If yes how much time does the line of treatment take.
I'm okay to consult with doctor if they have handled any similar cases. Please answer.

You can take antifungal tablets weekly for extended course of 6 weeks. Also vaginal probiotics may help. Keep the area hygienic but avoid shaving. Wear loose clothes, cotton underwear. Avoid tights, jeans, leggings.
