Check if your baby is eating something else than the edible items eg. Soil, wall chips etc. Such children are prone to worm infestations and also are anemic.
This can also make the child prone for other infections. Also fever for 3 -5 days can be due to any viral illness and there is nothing to worry.
Next Steps
1. During fever, keep the child hydrated
2. Try Bandy SYP 5ml once at night
3. You can start Iron prophylaxis after consulting a pediatrician
4. Increase high fibre diet and reduces milk consumption only twice a day.
5. Can try SYP Zincovit
6. Consult a pediatrician for physical examination in case the baby is not active, develops high grade fever, has decreased appetite or has vomiting/ diarrhoea.
Its normal to have fever in these age group
Just wash your kid daily 5 times in a day because most of the times kids will keep their hand here and their that itself causes infection
