Recurrent diarrhea every 10-15 days
I am having recurring bouts of diarrhea with smelly stool every 10-15 days since 4 January . It gets okay by itself in 1-2 days and then reccurs .I've lost 8 kgs weight in two months. There are no other symptoms but I feel low on energy after diarrhea..gone through all allergy tests and those were negative..I've taken 14 day course of rifaximin and 8 day course of ofloxacin and ornidazole twice but in vain...stress doesn't seem to be the problem as the diarrhea occurs unexpectedly

Hello There,
In this problem you should visit to Gastroenterologist as soon as possible. Thorough clinical examination and diagnostic procedure like Gastroscopy may be required in your case. Gastroenterologist may ask you to done some Blood and Stool tests to confirm the diagnosis.
