I have been suffering from recurring candidiasis since Oct 2023.
My vag culture report in Jan showed Candida Albicans resistant to Flucanozole (dose dependent)
I have also been to two dermatologists who put me on Flucanocozole remission therapy and Itraconozole for 10 days.
After my most recent appointment (April 17), my gynae asked me to go to a dermatologist for further consultation and management.
I had to wait as I got my period but it was followed by a UTI infection.
After going to the doctor, my Urine and Vaginal swab tests showed E.coli + yeast and E.coli respectively. I am currently on antibiotics for UTI but the vaginal discharge is again cottage cheese like followed by mild irritation. I suspect my yeast infection is not fully cured.
What should be my next steps?
