I've been having middle upper back pain since I was in high school, and I'm on my 3rd year level in college. Sometimes the pain is tolerable but most of the time it hurts so bad that I can't even breath. 6 mos ago I consulted to adoctor but he said that it was only due to my asthma. But I know for sure that it's not. What should be the process so that I can manage my problem?

If the pain is persistent visit an orthopaedic surgeon for clinical examination. He can then guide u if physiotherapy is to be started. also appropriate x-rays can be done before getting MRI done.
