Hi doctor, I had pain in RCT hence doctor prescribed for re-rct. Recently I under gone for re Rct. Here I am attaching 2 xray. One xray is first RCT with crown and 2nd one is before filling the re Rct. My question is,  in 2nd xray is re-rct was done properly or do they have any problem because I have slightly pain in re Rct (4th tooth). Does it take long time to heal the re-rct. I am bit worried. Please suggest. Thanks.

This is not a post treatment radiograph. The endodontist usually adjusts the filling after this xray is taken. You need to make another xray to see if filling is proper. Sometimes there is pain after rct and it may take few days to settle. Also  you need to check of you are biting on a high filling which can cause pain.

We need to evaluate the tooth. Mostly it takes 5 days to get the tooth back to painless position Secondly the first premolar gp did not reach the full length. Reason could be ledges Also second premolar angle doesn't warrant the gp of second canal till full length.. another x ray would help
Next Steps
get another rvg done if the pain doesn't subside within 10 days
Health Tips
warm saline rinses help to release the pain take any anti inflammatory like Chymoral forte twice daily to reduce the inflammation
