RCT in 21 tooth
I was advised for RCT in 21 tooth. Pl advise whether I have to go for the crown mandatory or that is only for the aesthetic looks. In my tooth whether single sitting RCT is advisable or the routine(multiple sitting) RCT to be done. Pl advise.

Welcome To Practo, root canal treatment can be done in 21, the permanent Crown has to be placed after root canal treatment, it is mandatory ,in case if you fail to replace permanent Crown then it may become weak gradually and May break off oneday. consult me for further details .thank you.

Crown is mandatory in RCT treated tooth as such tooth tend to become discoloured in future. Also crown protects RCT treated tooth from chipping as it becomes brittle.With modern technology your tooth  RCT can b done in single sitting but final call has to be of operating dentist.

Yes. Crown is mandatory after rct is done as the root canal treatment makes the tooth brittle and hence it is mandatory to cover the tooth with a crown. Yes , Rct is advisable for this tooth and whether it can be done in a single sitting or multiple can be adviced only after a physical examintation.
