Rat/mouse bite
Good morning doctors, I got bit by a rat/mouse in the middle of night while sleeping, but there was no blood. I felt intense pain and woke up. I had a tetanus shot last year. Do I need anti rabies shots? I had 5 ARVs completed in October, 2021. Don't know why I often get bit by these rats which enter my house from time to time.

Although rats are not known to transmit rabies but it's better to be cautious than sorry. Get a tetanus as well as rabies shot after consulting with doctor.
