Rat bite me
I am 5 months pregnant. I got rat bite night. Its like needle punch and one dot blood came... No swelling wound and all. Already i took two TT injection during 3rd and fourth month. What should i do

Dear ma'am,
Any mammalian bite in Indian scenario is a potential hazard for spread of Rabies. I sincerely request you to take Rabies Immunoglobulin and 5 intramuscular doses of Antirabies vaccine over 1 month (0, 3, 7, 14, 28); if you were not previously immunised for rabies.
Moreover, since you have already taken 2 doses of TT, you don't have to repeat it now.
