Hello doctor I am damn worried about my radiation Exposure I did 2 ct scans one of abdomen and pelvis and one of head with 2 xrays one of back and one of chest plz help me that will I get cancer if yes what to do to avoid it and if not how can I prevent it in future I am. 20 year old male it was all done in 2 months of time

The radiation exposure from CT scans is usually very minimal and within limit for the general public as hospitals follow the rules of ALARA. However as we all know, the risk for cancer is never zero, whether you've undergone a CT scan or not. You need not worry as of now. Please maintain a healthy lifestyle- exercise, eat lots of greens, avoid smoking and alcohol, heavy fried foods. Look out for any alarming signs- unusual lump, bleeding from mouth or nose, wound that does not heal. Otherwise please carry on with your life as usual. All the best. Take care
