Ct Scan Xray radiation fear
Hi iam 30f since last 4 or 3 years I have done unnecessary 3 head Ct Scans 1 chest hrct during covid out of fear. And multiple xrays of chest throat hand head unnecessarily. Am I at risk to develop cancer now or later. I am very much worried. Today I am going for sonomammogram I don't know if it is radiation scan plz help me i am very much worried that I may get radiation related cancer due to all these Ct Scans and Xrays in coming 5 to 10 years or more. Very much fearful and anxiety i have small kid I want to live plz respomd

There is no radiation involved in sonomammogram. Ct scans involve radiation but the incidence of cancer in patients who have undergone diagnostic scans are very rare . There is nothing to worry about.
