I was take ct contrast for abdomen and pelvis in year 2022 oct for having repeated constipation . Then doctor suggested to take colonoscopy and endoscopy, because in ct they suggested for ibd . But by gods grace nothing found in colonoscopy and endoscopy. But now dec 2023 , again trigger a problem I took MRI scan abdomen and ct since I had severe stomach pain for past 5 days. Happy  the results are normal. Now the fear is I took contrast ct in 2022 oct . Again in our office full body check up took chest xray on 25th oct 2023, then I took ct of my own11th dec 2023 . Now got fear anxiety about repeated radiation cause cancer. Because my father is pancreatic cancer now he is no more. Please help me I am fear of getting multiple radiation scans on mentioned dates. Please guide to overcome from this.

You can be assured that nothing is going to happen by having CT done twice till now, once in a year. Yes continuous or frequent exposure to radiation is a risk factor but twice CT and an X-ray is not going to harm. This choice of getting imaging has to be judiciously done as per the requirement but exposure for twice will not cause any harm.
