I got a cat scratch me and licked in it (I think so) on my finger the wound is not even visible at the time. 10 to 15 days later i started rabies vaccine and completed it 8 months ago. The cat is still alive not a pet. Yesterday I bit by same cat in my finger and I got rabies vaccine (rabivax s) after 20hrs of the bite, no blood no visible wounds, yet it's safe to get vaccinated as it is a stray cat , my doubt is that my doctor doesn't ask me to take HRIg , i haven't taken it before 8months also , when I searched about rabies vaccine in Google it says hrig is given with rabies vaccine during dose. Could any respect doctor explain me should I take it or let me know what to do. I am worried 🙁
