Scratch from a cat
I have taken a full dose of anti rabies vaccine around 7 months ago. Yesterday I got a scratch from the same cat, there was very little blood. I have washed the wound with harsh soap and have taken tetanus vaccine. Do I need to take the ARV again?

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  Since you have already taken anti rabies vaccine there is no need to take again now. All you need is booster doses every five years. Just take care of the wound and all is fine. Consult a general physician in person for further evaluation and management. Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain. Bangalore.
