Rabies related
Today a stray dog started following me , was not aggressive , but he suddenly started licking my calf muscles side , immediately I got away from it, but I think there might be some scratch from his teeth also As when I sprayed sanitizer at that place it started burning like there is some minute scratch. What should I do? This happens around 9:15 pm and tomorrow morning I have to travel and will reach my home around 6 pm . What should I do ? Do I need rabies vaccine? Please help me

Usually rabies vaccination is needed when its a grade 3 bite plus every dog doesn't have rabies however i would like to know that did he licked you on your exposed calf? Did his saliva touch some injured abrasion? Also i would like to know your rabies vaccination status.... These things are needed otherwise i suggest you go for it but its a bit costly in private and you don't even need if you took it recently.
