Rabies observations period
If street dog bites someone...what's the observation period for the street dog to say it's rabies free? Also does same observation timeline applies for home dog also?..does it spread rabies in incubation period?..

10 days is the incubation period. If the dog is alive more than 10 days, it doesn't have rabies

If a dog bites,go get vaccinated at 0,3,7th day. If the dog is alive after 10days no need for 21,28th day dose. If a dog bites and if you have bleeding from the site also get a rabies immunoglobulin injection.
