You can take the vaccine series as a preventive measure. As the cat is alive , you should not be concerned about getting rabies.

This episode is five years old. You can do nothing about it at this time. Forget it and face life the way it unfolds. By getting tension you can only make your life more miserable. Even if you get your Anti-rabies antibodies level (and it is negative) , you can take the Anti-rabies vaccine but it will be useful only to prevent the risk of Rabies from future exposure. Forget it.

Response: Dear Patient, I understand your concern about rabies, but based on your situation, you do not need to worry. Rabies symptoms typically develop within weeks to a few months after exposure, and since your cat is still alive and healthy after a year, it is highly unlikely that she had rabies at the time of the bite. Here’s why you can stay reassured: 1. If your cat had rabies when she bit you, she would not have survived for a year. 2. Rabies does not stay dormant in humans for such a long time; symptoms usually appear within a few weeks to months. 3. If your cat is vaccinated and healthy, the risk is nearly zero. There is no need for a rabies vaccine now, but if you are still anxious, I recommend consulting a doctor for a thorough assessment. If you have any more concerns, you can reach out to me directly for a consultation. Feel free to contact me at eight zero zero nine eight two one three three two on WhatsApp. Best regards, Contact number for more details Eight zero zero nine eight two one three three two.
