RA factor,knee pain
My mother age 67 was given kenacort 40. For knee pain(looks only minor layer issue during x-ray) couple of days ago.. She says knee pain and stiffness have not completely been reduced.. Do these injection show complete effect in couple of days or they take longer period to show complete effect

Complete relief in pain may not be possible with a single injection in advanced arthritis. Effect starts 72 hours from 1st injection and may take longer to give adequate relief.

It will take longer period to show its effect but it depends on which stage of osteoarthritis of knee joint shows on xray
