Quitting smoking
I have quit smoking on4/5/2021. After that once in a day m getting greenish phlegm in cough. Is it serious issue?? I also got vaccination of covid on 5/5/2021. Now I don't have craving of having cigarettes Is the green/ black phlegm is cause of some serious issue???

Some degree of Bronchitis is always present in smokers. Sputum is probably due to lung infection. Good news you quit smoking, Your lungs will take next 10 years to dispose all the tar and nicotine and to heal fully.

If it keeps happening please consult a doctor. Some amount of cough is expected if you quit all at once. But if the sputum is not watery but coloured it is an indication of infection.
