Smoking cigarettes after tonsillectomy.
Yesterday I got my tonsils removed for recurring strep throat. I am a moderate smoker, roughly 15 cigarettes per day. The past two days of not smoking have killed me, and NRT options are not working. My doctor said it would increase my risk of bleeding from 2 to 3%. I’m wondering if this is correct as quitting smoking like this is not easy, what is the absolute best minimum for when I can start to smoke. Please don’t tell me to quit as it won’t happen, and two weeks smoke free is too difficult.
