Tonsillectomy?
I have frequent incidents of tonsillectomy/pharyngitis, snd have to eat antibiotics so many times. An entire few years back said if you have to eat antibiotics more than 3 times a year for this, go for tonsil removal. Should I go for surgery? I read one study that says it increases the risk of certain types of cancers in the next decades? Is that true or inconclusive?

It doesn't increase the risk for cancer. But, meet an ENT doctor so that he can assess you in person. If the reason of frequent throat pain is tonsillitis, you may need tonsillectomy surgery.
