Quitting alcohol cold turkey.

Hello Mr. Good morning. I read ur concern and got an idea of ur drinking pattern . I wud like to comment over few things that u must understand . 1. Any substance ( alcohol, cannabis, opoid, synthetic drug, tobacco and many more) involve and impact over " Central nervous system "of ur body. 2. U should understand the difference among Alcohol use, alcohol abuse ,alcohol intoxication & alcohol dependence. 3. Among all above ,Only alcohol dependence is is most important predictor for withdrawal symptoms . 4. Dependance means body has become dependant over that particular substance both Physically and psychologically. 5. Any sudden/ abrupt stopping of that dependant  substance may cause serious withdrawal symptoms. 6.In ur case alcohol withdrawal symptoms can    be *  Sleep disturbances *  Pounding heart beats *  Tremor in hands *  Paroxysmal sweating *  Feeling anxious *  Agitation / restlessness *  Hallucination ( Auditory, visual & tactile ) *  Disorientation *  Headache *  Burning sensation in stomach. 7. But if you are not a case of dependance then     there is possibility you may not face any     withdrawal symptoms as mentioned above.

Consult a Psychiatrist/  Neuropsychiatrist of ur choice to discuss in detail ur reasons to drink  drinking pattern , volume of drink everyday, last drink and it's volume, ur motivation level to quit alcohol. All these specific details are needed to manage ur condition. Even if there is no withdrawal symptoms , still you must visit a Psychiatrist / Neuropsychiatrist for De-addiction of alcohol .
