QUERY REGARDING FIRST SCAN
I am currently 6 weeks pregnant..doctor has told me to come in the first week of march and undergo an ultrasound/scan.. this is my first pregnancy..m very curious to know what type of a scan will it be ? abdomen only or something else ? and what all will be identified from it. Also i wish to know the pre requisites i should take care of before the scan

It would be a trans vaginal scan Heartbeat fetal pole and localisation of pregnancy  shall be done You need to carry your  Aadhar card two passport size photographs and go after a meal

It will be to assess the viability, localisation and dating of pregnancy. No specific pre requisite is required. You can go for abdominal or vaginal scan. It depends on your comfort.
