Hello, from past 4-5 days I am experiencing runny nose,sneezing,cold and cough with swollen tonsils or discomfort in throat. There is constant discharge of mucus from nose as well as sneezing.runny nose and sneezing are mostly in morning and also in the evening.also my left wisdom tooth has decayed with abscess. Does decayed tooth causes throat infection or swollen tonsils. Doctor had prescribed zithrox 250 but throat discomfort hasn't gone. Please suggest any medicine or treatment for the same. Kindly reply asap?

Source of infection can be your decaying tooth or may be the tonsillitis is the culprit;continue your antibiotics and do betadine gargle two to three times a day and add anti inflammatory to your diet too
