I underwent surgery-Proctectomy+Ileal pouch anal Anastomosis+covering loop ileostomy on 01st November 2019..Was having problems since last week.Symptoms-Low stoma output,crampy abdominal pain,nausea,uneasiness in abdomen..Used medicines -cintapro Od,syp duphalac(15ml once daily)Stoma wash etc..but no marked improvement..Kindly tell me what is the difference between both the reports(Xray done on 02.12.2019 and next done on 12.12.2019)..Kindly reply...What does distended air filled bowel loops mean?Please answer...

There is only distension of bowel.. it may happen after surgery.

There is distention of bowel with gas please go to your surgeon he will be able to guide you properly after seeing you.

Report just depicts that there is gaseous distention of bowel loops.. it happens in every person.
It has nothing to be concerned with.
