Quads vmo extreme cramps after cycling
My Thigh musculature including all quads, vmo and everything got sprained after intense cycling. I have a grade 1 acl sprain from 1 Yr (you can check out my other post) so I tried out cycling to get back my muscle strength back as my right knee is unstable. So after doing intense cycling for 1 mnth suddenly both my thighs got extreme cramped out as if they are  going to burst and tear apart. If I got out for walk only for a little distance and come back home my thighs gets this muscle pain especially when I'm trying to sit. While sitting it feels like it is gonna rip apart. Please any immediate solution for this. Kindly give me the remedy or treatment for the same. I don't know whether it is a cramp or something else pls do recommend something.

Due to muscle imbalance this may happen. Certain muscles are too tight, stretched and overworked and opposite group of muscles maybe are weak and are not firing at correct time. U need to release tight tissues and train and strengthen weak muscles.

Unnecesaary overuse of muscles will lead to this cramls and severe pain. You need proper guidance if you have ACL. Now dont worry, give it reat and apply hot/ice pack to thighs. Take ultracet or acemiz plus to reduce pain twice a day. If the pain doesnt reduces visit physiotherapy clinic and take electrotherapy for a week. Do take rest for 3 days.
