Hello, is it true that if I make my quadriceps stronger then the load will be shifted from my knee joint to my quadriceps? How its possible.
M asking this as m doing physiotherapy for my knee chondromalacia problem.

dr. rajesh explained very well to you. apart from that try for weight reduction and good amount of water intake since your knee jt as well as quads has to work hard to bear your body weight.

well. its partly true. stronger quadriceps will hep you share the loads over your knee joint, rather than completely shifting the the load. as you r having chondromalacia, we would like your quadriceps to be stronger so that muscles share the load equally and partly offload your knee joint.
