The combination itself is not contraindicated, but careful consideration of patient-specific factors is required. Like pre-existing cardiac disease, electrolyte disturbance, etc. Also, escitalopram in high doses of 20mg per day has the propensity to cause QT prolongation.

Hi.. QT prolongation is reported in patients who overdose escitalopram. As such 10 mg is a therapeutic dose .. so less likely.

If any overdose of escitalopram happens..then it can be severe.
