My sister hav psychosis symptoms. Doctor gave her zisper forte which contains 4mg risperidone and 2 mg trihexphenydyl. and olimelt 5 mg. now she has tongue movement. she cant speak proper. is it side effect of medicines? is risperidone 4mg safe? In google I read risperidone rthe risk of stroke. is it true?

Antipsychotic could cause tongue movement disorder in susceptible individual, not in all.

What's u have described here is due to side-effects of medication... Now u can reduce risperiodone...and stop... Instead of that go with other antipsychotic...but this decission need a consultation first ...
