Psychological issues
Hello, Everyone, I'm Vamsi. I'm 25 years old. I was trying to get a job form the last one year and I joined A online course. During the course, my progress was very good later on it decreased drastically. I lost my focus my patience and now my brain became very dumped and I was just trying to postpone my studies every time I'm not taking my things seriously and I started drinking and smoking and I have observed I'm slowly getting addicted to them. My friends who joined the same course with me got a very good job and they started working from the last 7 months. I don't know what to do and I don't want to be like this Please give me a solution to come out of this. Thank you.

Hi Vamsi, I can understand that this must be a very difficult and frustrating situation for you. It sounds like you have been struggling with motivation and focus, and that has led you to engage in unhealthy habits like drinking and smoking. However, the good news is that there are steps you can take to turn things around. Here are a few suggestions: 1. Get support: Talk to someone you trust, like a friend or family member, about what you're going through. They may be able to offer you some encouragement and support. 2. Re-evaluate your goals: Take some time to think about why you wanted to take the course and what you hoped to achieve. Are those goals still important to you? If so, think about how you can recommit to them. 3. Create a routine: Establish a daily routine that includes time for studying, exercise, healthy eating, and self-care. Stick to this routine as much as possible to build structure and consistency in your life. 4. Practice mindfulness: Try to be present in the moment and focus on the task at hand. Mindfulness exercises like deep breathing, meditation, or yoga can help you develop a more focused and calm mindset. 5. Seek professional help: If you're struggling with addiction, it's important to seek professional help. Consider seeing a therapist or counsellor who can help you develop coping strategies and support your recovery. Remember that change takes time, so be patient and kind to yourself.
