Hi Psychiatrist can prescribe medications if required. After proper evaluation psychiatrist can advise you for Psychotherapy or can prescribe medications or both depending upon the severity of your problem and underlying cause. Hope this helps you. Thanks and regards.

It is necessary to evaluate your problem to know the reason causing insomnia. Medication would act as temporary relief but my suggestion is you should not get addicted to it at such a young age. I am an online counselor and can guide you through various techniques. Please get in touch with me if you need counselling for same. Happy to help ! Do check my Facebook page and my website mentioned on it.
