PSVT diagnosed
My sister recently had been diagnosed with PSVT where her heart rate is faster than normal. Her blood test also showed hyperthyroidism. I have attached the reports because I think we should go for second opinion before getting her tested with ESP & RFA as suggested by the doctor. Please help if we need second opinion or should go for the test.?

Hello, PSVT is a known complication of hyperthyroidism. If she does not have very frequent episodes at present EP study is not needed. She should start medicines for hyperthyroidism and PSVT. In spite of controlling thyroid and giving medicines for PSVT if she has frequent episodes of tachycardia then only go for EPS RFA. Take care
