Proximal tibial fracture
Hi.i met with an accident on 23rd July 2021.i had proximal tibial fracture.i underwent surgery with genex synthetic bone graft.i have attached xrays.this is my 5th week and I dnt have any pain neither swelling nor discomfort.kindly lemme know when can I put weight on my leg.the above attached xray are 1st...postoperative on day of surgery and 2nd..4th week post operative.

Ideally you should wait for 3 months before weight bearing can be started. Final decision would be taken by the operating surgeon.

Ideally the opinion of weight bearing is decided by operating surgeon based on the severity of fracture. Satisfactory fixation and alignment are more important.  This is a badly shattered fracture in the joint.
