Prolonged menstruation
I am experiencing prolonged menstruation problem since menarche, my periods continue for 15+ days and only stop on taking hormonal pills (OCP) my body is not responding to any other medication and I feel has become habitual of pills, I am under stress for last 14 years due to. This, my doctor recently suggested to go for panchkarma. Treatment, will it be helpful in providing permanent relief for my problem.

Prolonged menstruation could be a sign of underlying hyperplasia or pcos or fibroid..you need to get yourself investigated..do a ultrasound pelvis and serum TSH as a start..consult back for further management..Also start a haemetinic like mumfer D3 once daily so that you dont become anemic..
