Prolonged periods and hormonal imbalance
I am a 27-year-old female experiencing light red and brown bleeding/spotting for the past 13 days after my last normal menstrual period. I have mild menstrual-like cramps and lower back pain but no heavy bleeding, fever, severe pain, dizziness, or large clots. My pelvic ultrasound is normal (normal uterus, endometrial thickness, and ovaries with no fibroids or cysts). My CBC, thyroid profile, serum prolactin, are normal and done today itself . What could be the possible cause of this prolonged bleeding? Do I need any additional investigations or treatment. Also if i take a T stat 500 mg my doubt was will it pause my normal menstrual cycle and i wont receive periods in upcoming months
