Pregnant planning
I am planning to get pregnant for the second time. Initially I had pcod and after treatment I got a baby boy and he is 3 years old. Till now for 3 years I didn't have any period delays nothing.suddenly when planning for 2nd, may be I am too anxious on each day I am checking because of that. I am not getting it regularly it is like once 70 days and once 20 days, so I consulted doctor. She suggested me yaz pill, but it is a birth control pill (from net I understood). Can I use it to have regular periods or for ovulation properly happening.. please guide me in this

Dear Practo user, PCOD needs treatment for conception if you are not conceiving naturally. However since you have already had a pregnancy before, your chances of conception are high. Yaz will not help you to conceive, it will only regularise your periods. Please consult me online on Docon for further treatment

Yaz is a good pill to regularise your periods and also loose weight
May be your doctor wants you to loose weight and regularise your periods before trying to conceive

Hi. You can take the ocp yaz for 3 months . It will regularise the cycles . It will also help in reducing abdrogens level . When you will stop the tab ovulation will be regular and predictable . Do not be anxious . Excercise daily . That will refuce the stress .
