Pregnancys
Had mirena for almost 5 years. Have pregnancy symptoms. What are the chances I could be pregnant? I feel like I'm bloated but it won't go down and is hard. I feel nauseas too.

hello, Since you are using mirena, you are unlikely to be pregnant. It is a safe and effective method to prevent pregnancy. However, do a urine pregnancy test to be double sure.

Hi. Mirena is for 5 yrs. So if you r due for removal then remove it by meeting gyn. Mirena is a very good contraceptive so dont worry . Take some antacid . And if much worry, do one urine preg kit test.

Mirena acts as a good contraceptive ... its highly unlikely that u may be pregnant ... but just to be sure u can do pregnancy test at home using various kits available in market ... Also, its time for u to visit a gynaec and check if its time for mirena removal as you have been using it for 5 yrs.
