I am affected with chronic hbsag positive, my wife now pregnant and she test hbsag negative,there is any chances to spread the virus to newborn baby.what the precautions to be taken after newborn baby birth.

If you're HbsAg positive and your wife is negative, then the chances of the new born getting affected is closer to 0. But still it is better to get your wife vaccinated after delivery.

If your wife is negative then baby won't have HBsAg. Newborn screening for HBsAg to be done after birth

If your wife is negative it cannot be spread to the newborn Your wife can get it from you make sure after delivery ur wife is vaccinated
