During pregnancy we need to take sonography at every stage. First sonography should be done soon after confirmation next at 12 weeks third at 20-24 weeks then at 28weeks and last 28-30 weeks for normal pregnancy. In case of special situations your gynaec may ask for extra sonography too.

sonography in pregnancy is advisable at various stages during course of pregnancy.
1st s around 7 weeks..viability scan
2nd.12 to 13 weeks ..NT scan
3rd..at 18 to 20 weeks...USG level 2
4th..At 28 to 30 weeks..fetal well being
5th..at 34 to 37 weeks..USH obs with doppler
