Pre natal medicine
Dear Doctor I am under medications for Diabetics , Glocobay M25 at dose level 1-1-1. We are trying for a children. My friend told me to start the pre natal vitamins. Folvite and Multivite FM. How should I take this, along with my diabetes medicine ? Doses and frequency. Pls advise Kind Regards - Stay Safe

before planning for pregnancy your sugar should be under control .. so get your HbA1C and fasting and post prandial sugar.. also you need to visit a doctor in person for prenatal counselling.. you can start these multivitamins once a day after meal..

Folic acid 5mg supplements require atleast 90day preconception. To prevent neural tube defects in the fetus. As u r diabetic,  we advice u to control sugars on optimal level and then plan for conception.  As diabetes it self has some risk for fetus.
