Both are different. Sensitivity is often felt while consuming something hot or cold, while pain can be generally felt even without a stimulus. Pain will often be radiating in case of a tooth decay, while sensitivity is localised.
Next Steps
Visit your dentist in either case to find out the root cause of the problem.

Hi, In case of tooth sensitivity, you will feel a tingling sensation in your tooth/teeth when you have something hot or cold. You may also react to sweet food or drinks. In case of tooth pain, you will have a dull to severe discomfort in the tooth/teeth. In both cases, it may be difficult in some cases to differentiate. Visit a dentist immediately, after you feel any discomfort in the tooth/teeth.

They are different Sensitivity usually may have a stimulus like hot cold sweet etc Tooth pain may be associated with a stimulus or may be spontaneous But our tooth will respond to both as pain only Look for the cause and duration of the discomfort. This will help you decide the treatment plan
