Hi, Saliva of what got into your mouth? You were driving and from where did the water containing bat or dog saliva enter your mouth? How did you suddenly feel splashes of water? Where did it splash from? Did you run over a puddle of water? If yes that can't cause rabies. Don't worry If no, where did the water come from

What you felt is highly unlikely to be splashes of saliva. Also Rabies won't cause mouth ulcers. So you may chill. Take any multivitamin B complex tablets. That should suffice. If ulcers don't improve, kindly connect.

Dear Patient,  Rabies is transmitted through direct contact with the saliva or neural tissue of an infected animal, typically via bites or scratches. In your case, the splashes of water around your lips are **extremely unlikely** to be a source of rabies transmission, even if ulcers were present in your mouth. Here’s why:  1. No Direct Contact: Rabies virus does not survive long outside a host and cannot penetrate intact skin or mucous membranes without direct inoculation (e.g., a bite).  2. No Confirmed Animal Exposure: Since you didn’t see or interact with a dog/bat, the risk is negligible.  3. Environmental Factors: Airborne or waterborne transmission of rabies is not documented.  **Next Steps:**  - Monitor for unusual symptoms (e.g., fever, agitation, hydrophobia), though these are highly improbable in this scenario.  - If you recall any recent animal bites/scratches, consult a doctor immediately.  **Helpful Tips:**  - Avoid unnecessary panic; rabies prophylaxis is reserved for high-risk exposures.  - Ensure pets are vaccinated if you own any.  For further clarification or if you experience anxiety about this, I recommend a detailed consultation. You can reach me on WhatsApp at **Eight Zero Zero Nine Eight Two One Three Three Two** to discuss your concerns personally.
