Postpartum bleeding
BACKGROUND:
I had a C-section delivery for my second baby in November. I went for a checkup to doctor after one and half month. The doctor said that postpartum bleeding could last for six to eight weeks.
Doctor prescribed 1 medicine, a contraception pill to continue.
I have now started taking contraceptive tablet cerazette once a day since last 10 days. The bleeding stopped for seven days, but last 2/3 days I noticed some bleeding and mild pain.
QUESTION;
Is my period started ? is it still postpartum bleeding or period bleeding ? what is the cause of this bleeding? Should I continue the tablet or stop ?

Please get your Hb level and sonography of the lower abdomen done. Consult with the reports.

When in November was the surgery? If it's past 2months then it's not postpartum bleeding. It might be your periods starting off. As you have started the pill complete the course and observe for the next bleeding. For further advice consult please.

Following delivery bleeding should stop in 45 days if it doesn't then you need an ultrasound of find out the reason the most common reason is retained placental bits

Postpartum bleeding last for upto 6-8 weeks. If it is more than 8 week it might be your periods bleeding only
