Post Cast Removal- Wrist Fracture
I got my cast removed after 1 moth. My wrist is making cracking sounds while moving it and there is pain and stiffness too. My doctor says to continue physiotherapy without heavy weight. I am attaching the most recent x-ray. has the bone healed? Please suggest !

Hi Ms. Souvik, you had fracture of the distal radius for which below elbow plaster must have been applied. The fracture looks well aligned and healing. I will advise you to use either crepe bandage or wrist immobiliser for 2 more weeks with physio therapy for Mobility of the wrist joint. Don’t do stressful work or lift any weight for 2 -3 weeks.
Next Steps
Take it slow, give it some more time to heal completely. Continue gentle physio therapy
Health Tips
Can do warm saline fomentation twice a day for 5-7 days
