Post c-section severe back pain
I'm a homemaker, mother of 6 month baby. I had C-SECTION. Since, then I am having very bad back pain. I am taking calcium tablet corcium and also do massage with pain killer ointments. In addition, I even take hot bag massage. In worst condition I have pain killer tablet. I am afraid this will lead to chronic pain. Iam not able to do my routine household chores because of this pain. Kindly advice me what should I do. Should I show my condition to orthopaedic or physiotherapy doctor ? Many thanks for your help in advance! Regards, Zainab

During and after delivery it's common for abdominal muscles to weaken along with increased lumbar lordosis (curvature of the spine) due to physiological changes in the body. Strong abdominals are needed for a strong back. I would advice you learn how to do basic core muscle strengthening and start with it. Also perform posterior pelvic tilt and bridging. Bone loading exercises like cat-camel are advisable to build the bone strength which will supplement your calcium intake.
