You are worried about a perfectly normal behaviour. Interest in porn and masturbation is a healthy form of sexual outlet. You also seem to have control for few days. First get yourself educated on these rather than feeling guilty. Do consult a psychiatrist and first get yourself educated guilt removed for a behavior which is perfectly normal.

I want to acknowledge how much courage it takes to voice these struggles. Often, we treat mental health as a matter of 'willpower,' but as a psychiatrist, I can tell you that what you are experiencing has a real biological and neurological basis. Your brain, like any other organ, can sometimes struggle to maintain balance under stress. Seeking treatment isn't a sign of failure; it’s a proactive medical decision to regain your quality of life. We can work together to understand the 'why' behind these feelings and find a structured path back to your baseline. You don't have to navigate this alone.

Hello, You are experiencing difficulty controlling masturbation urges, especially triggered by watching porn. This is quite common and usually related to habit formation and dopamine-driven behavior rather than a lack of willpower. The key issue here is behavioral conditioning. Repeated exposure to porn increases urge frequency and reduces control. The fact that you can sometimes control it (2–3 days) means improvement is definitely possible. To manage this: Gradually reduce porn consumption Avoid triggers (being alone, late-night phone use) Engage in physical activity and structured routine Practice urge delay technique (wait 10–15 minutes before acting) Keep yourself mentally occupied With consistent effort, control improves significantly over time. For personalized guidance and structured management, feel free to consult. nine nine three one zero four five zero zero eight
